During the warmer months of spring and summer you can generally find a multitude of options in the landscaping field, although in fall and winter the options tend to die off because it is more difficult and less popular to do landscaping work in the colder months.

The Internet is great because the speed and efficiency of it allows you to save an incredible amount of time and effort, as you do not have to spend time going around town looking for a job or buying the paper every day.

Print out a decent amount of cover letters and resumes, and then spend a day going around and handing them in at the desired locations. Although some positions allow you to apply right over the Internet, it is always a good idea to just go in person, because then you give them a chance to meet you and gives you the opportunity to leave a lasting impression.
